College of Wisconsin System Delays Controversial Survey

The College of Wisconsin system postponed administering a scholar survey on campus free speech after the plan sparked controversy, The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.

The survey, initially scheduled to launch Thursday, will now be administered in fall 2022, in accordance with an e-mail despatched Wednesday by Tim Shiell, who directs the Menard Middle for the Examine of Establishments and Innovation on the College of Wisconsin at Stout, to Michael Falbo, the interim president of the system. The choice to delay follows the resignation of Jim Henderson, the interim chancellor of the College of Wisconsin at Whitewater. He and different chancellors reportedly raised issues in regards to the survey.
