One other No-Confidence Vote in U of Maine Chancellor


The school of the College of Southern Maine voted no confidence within the College of Maine system chancellor, Dannel Malloy, on Friday.

The Press Herald reported that school members cited the departure of three system presidents and a scarcity of school enter in key selections. “I feel this vote is a fruits of lots of shocks that school and the system have needed to soak up over the yr,” School Senate chair Shelton Waldrep mentioned.

The vote follows one by the School Senate on the College of Maine at Augusta. The UMA school held the vote Wednesday evening after they realized Malloy and different prime college system officers never informed Augusta’s presidential search committee that Michael Laliberte, the person hired in April, had acquired two votes of no confidence at his earlier job as president of the State College of New York at Delhi.
