He would ask; Dad, how come I always… have to pick up the towel off the hallway floor?;… have to pick up my running shoes off the living room floor?;…, have to help with dishes and put them in the dishwasher?…, have to pick out gm stuck under the nightstand?;..?, have to wash the tub after I take a bath?…have to pick up the trash from all the rooms in the house?…etc.

After a while, Jonathan’s dad calls him into his office and asks, “Son, how come I always…give you an allowance? Jonathan replies, “I don’t know,” but later says his dad gives him allowance because he does the chores, as mentioned earlier! Jonathan got the answer! His dad thanked him for getting the answer right and encouraged him to continue doing the chores and stop complaining about them. Jonathan was happy as his dad gifted him a 5 dollars note as a reward. Jonathan and Dad were delighted.
The moral of the story is that kids should continue to do their chores on time.
